Many companies these days are in search of fresh, young and vibrant people. But this does not mean that if they find the potential in an experienced executive they will refrain from hiring him. And so to enhance your opportunity you must create a vivid and attractive resume that highlights your professional achievements, degrees and your interests does not harp too much on the issue of age.

You must construct your resume in order to make the selectors focus your moments of success rather than ponder about your age. The resume must only give an impression of your recent accomplishments. Never put on record the accolades that you have received way back.



In your resume do not be over explicit. Provide only those details that will be widely appreciated by the selectors. You must keep your selectors abreast about any computer trainings that you have acquired which is a pre-requisite these days for any job. In this way you can fight age discrimination which is prevalent among companies. If you are communicating with the selectors directly never voice doubts about the age factor that you have in your mind. Being honest might not serve your purpose especially when you have to survive discrimination on the part of employers and competition from young dynamic job seekers.

You must also present yourself as a dynamic personality who is eager to take up challenges that come with the job. If you can make the selectors believe that you are the right candidate then they will never caste their glances at the age constraint. All you have to do is to show them your potentials and how you can contribute to the growth of the company. Make them have faith in you and the job is yours.
