Diversity Analysts are currently needed
By Silas Reed
Today, the workplace is not just filled with indigenous people, rather it has become diverse or in true sense global. Workplace diversity includes organization's cultural diversity i.e.; the diversity of employment in the workforce irrespective of gender, age, race, ethnicity, religion. This indicates that the organization is culturally diverse. According to a law passed by the US Supreme court, the employer cannot give any consideration to gender, race, color, ethnicity, religion, and age while hiring employees. In a diverse workforce there is a potential for better decision making, creative and innovative ways of problem solving. There is scope for better product development, and better marketing to global customers. The success of a diverse organization depends on efficient communication. It is the responsibility of these diversity analysts and executives, to use this diversity as an added resource and exploit it for the benefit of the organization.
