The primary purpose of the Expert Systems & Regulatory Analyst role is to provide ongoing workflow analysis, design & build consultation related to the Allscripts clinical and regulatory toolsets throughout Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI).
The Expert Systems Analyst role will be part of a high functioning and growing Managed Services Delivery team for one of Allscripts' largest clients (and is the nation's third-largest non-profit health system) headquartered in Denver, Colorado. The key imperatives of this role are:
1. Provide Regulatory Guidance and Expertise as it Relates to Areas Such As Meaningful Use (MIPS, MACRA, etc.), CPC , Radiology AUC, etc.
2. Provide Ongoing Workflow Analysis, Design & Build Consultation Related to the Allscripts Clinical and Regulatory Toolsets.
3. Cross Functional Collaboration with Other Allscripts Functional Areas (Professional Services, Development, Solutions Management, Support) of Allscripts and our client
Ensure programs, applications and/or toolsets meet clinical and regulatory specifications and standards and results produced are consistent, accurate and timely (ie: MU and Quality Measure calculations).
Work with Client and/or other Allscripts team members to understand the customer's product-specific requirements and configuration needs and translate them to application design specifications and data flow from which tools and applications are developed and configured.
Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents functional configuration.
Identify the common causes of the defects, prioritize them and collaborate with others to systematically remove them so that they do not reoccur and/or jeopardize client's ability to successfully meet expected outcomes.
Interact with Client and/or Allscripts team members during the software build or configuration and testing process.
Perform application configuration and configure /run reports at user request; validate results are as documented and expected.
Design and execute unit, system and integration test plans for new releases/reports/regulatory requirements.
Perform application maintenance activities and regular validation of functions.
Provide production support.
Interface with other Analysts to assist in resolving support calls escalated by the Service Desk.

Academic and Professional Qualifications:
BA or BS degree preferred or other relevant combination of training and experience
5-10 years Health IT industry experience preferred
10 years expert experience in the above documented responsibilities.
Ability to creatively operationalize concepts and strategies that may be new and maturing in details and structure.
Independent thinker and problem-solver; comfortable working in changing client organizational environment.
Conscientious and meticulous attention to details and accuracy as it relates to deliverables and output.
Strong client facing and interacting skills; ability to develop relationships of trust and confidence virtually.
Location: Denver is Preferred; Remote with Relevant Experience.
Travel (if remote): 25% - 35%; will be more frequent during initial onboarding.
May require after hours on call support
Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
