Talent Engagement Programs Specialist, Staffing, Diversity and Inclusion

You will develop, sustain and innovate a strategy to cultivate niche talent for short and long term hiring needs. This strategy will include a focus on our external brand efforts, candidate experience and ensure niche talent is connected to our inclusive hiring processes.
You will connect with and champion niche talent from all informal/formal channel streams to opportunities across Sales, Marketing and General and Administrative (G&A;) type functions. Your primary focus will be to develop a deep understanding of: hiring needs, our aspirational goals heading towards the future, relationships with Staffing leads/managers and recruiters across Staffing, while ensuring that critical link is aligned with current and future talent needs.
You will also support our Staffing brand externally - partnering as an extension of the Employment Branding team, ensuring recruiters are leveraging all brand related efforts in their day to day interactions with candidates.
You will be the conduit to a partnership with our Leadership Staffing Team and Channels partners to ensure alignment across our leadership hiring strategies, and a strong partnership that leverages best practices, tools and resources, including candidate sharing.

Develop and drive a comprehensive, yet simple, Talent Engagement Strategy, based on a deep understanding of profiles and competency-based needs across Sales, Marketing and G&A; type functions.
Create and sustain a candidate sharing approach, partnering with teams with similar profiles (e.g., Tech, YouTube), leveraging existing tools, and expanding support and resources where necessary.
Ensure Google’s Employment Branding approach is used by recruiters; streamlining established tools (i.e. social media, narratives/talking points) for adoption across the businesses we support.
Leverage a competency based talent assessment approach with Leadership recruiters; explore the capability to apply across all levels and profiles, and support recruiters on long term engagement strategies for individuals with niche, non-traditional backgrounds.
Drive the engagement of individual talent informally and formally referred for roles with the right Staffing teams; identify opportunities for short and long term needs, and co-facilitate workshops tied to engaging with external talent.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in Staffing with demonstrated experience in project coordination.
Experience with diversity and inclusion hiring strategies and initiatives.
Experience with full-cycle recruiting.
Experience in diversity and inclusion in a staffing/hiring environment.
Experience with client management across levels and influencing without authority.
Experience with brand/awareness strategies, coordinating external relationships and/or engagements.
Experience working with cross functional teams and experience partnering with teams/individuals across teams.
Demonstrated experience with Google tools (Slides, Docs, Sheets, etc.) and an ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
