This position will introduce the incumbent to the many facets of the administrative side of an enroute facility for Air Traffic. Responsibilities may include travel related items, time and attendance, processing of orders, notices and authorizations, controller currency data, and many other administrative tasks.

Incumbent serves as a Management and Program Assistant under the supervision of an Office Manager in an Enroute Facility. Performs a variety of tasks in support of an administrative office's programs. Interprets and applies policies, procedures, regulations and agreements, as applicable, pertaining to the technical aspects of assigned programs.
Works on a broad range of payroll (time and attendance) tasks. Assists with employee benefits, including workers' compensation processing, staffing and other administrative requirements, as necessary. May coordinate with ATCS physicals by assisting with scheduling, preparing paperwork and utilizing and updating databases. Serves as a liaison between his/her office and other offices, including various Regional and Service Area personnel, to accomplish assigned adminisrtative tasks. Assists facility employees with various individual needs.
Utilizes a variety of automation tools such as CRU-X, Labor Distribution Reporting (LDR), CASTLE, Business Objects and other relevant databases/software. Maintains a broad understanding of organization activities and responsibilities to support multiple programs and/or functional areas.
Performs other administrative duties as assigned.
Not required - The job does not require any travel.

To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least 1 year specialized experience at the FV-D, GS\FG-3 in the Federal Service.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience may include but is not limited to: planning and accomplishing basic and routine tasks in support of administrative programs; utilizing automated systems to track, reconcile and report data; compiling and analyzing data; preparing and managing documents; and, supporting the office in the areas of financial support, personnel matters, personal property, travel administration and other office programs.
Although not required, the following Quality Ranking Factor is preferred:
1. Knowledge of payroll processing and employee entitlements to include pay, leave and time & attendance matters.
