Corporate Human Resources plays an integral role in designing, implementing, and managing global initiatives across the firm. The functional areas within Corporate HR include global Recruiting, Training, Talent and Development, Career Management, Diversity, Compensation, Benefits, Employee Relations, Technology, Finance and HR Service Delivery ( HRSD). The mission of Global Diversity & Inclusion is to:
Work closely with the various businesses and key stakeholders to establish processes, practices and build and strengthen relationships which are centered around workforce, workplace and marketplace with a laser focus on underrepresented groups in leadership roles that would benefit the firm in achieving its business goals.

Support management accountability by establishing standard reporting mechanisms for review.
Develop strategic partnerships with recruiters, employee relations, HR business partners, philanthropy, community relations, marketing, supplier diversity, diversity councils and external organizations.
Support the Global Diversity & Inclusion team in executing Line of Business diversity consulting efforts; Research, analysis, interpretation, and preparation of internal and external diversity related data and metrics for key senior stakeholders; manage strategic direction and impact of Business Resource Groups (BRGs); develop marketplace intelligence/benchmarking and best practice research; operational efficiencies for the Diversity Center of Excellence such as measurement/reporting tools and strategic communications; Partner with communications team to identify opportunities to keep diversity on the agenda – town halls, business communications, annual/corporate citizenship reports, websites, BRGs.
The Associate will report to the Firmwide and North America Diversity Operations Head and will be responsible for supporting the team’s strategic priorities by:
Owning and driving key diversity related initiatives
Enhancing the Diversity Center of Excellence – developing tools, resources, strategic communications, etc.
Providing input on diversity efforts linked to key business objectives
Measuring progress on key diversity and inclusion outcomes - analysis, interpretation, and preparation of internal and external diversity related data and metrics for key senior stakeholders, along with ownership and completion of elements of external survey and benchmarking studies
Assisting with the development of integrated solutions supporting clients’ needs and the key pillars of the diversity strategy: talent development, hiring and retention efforts, and promoting the firm’s brand
Working with functional diversity leaders and HR managers to execute on the firm’s goals
The team member will manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, requiring strong time management and organization skills. The Associate will also be exposed to various management and communication styles.
Specific responsibilities include and are not limited to:
Diversity Center of Excellence:
Assist with management of various core team functions
Conduct best practice research, make suggestions for enhancing team practices and assist with implementation/change management across the team; Provide input on ways to enhance and/or improve core team practices; Assist with creating and/or documenting practices to increase operational efficiency
Partner with the Communications Lead for Diversity to share content that helps keep diversity on the agenda for town halls, business communications, annual/corporate citizenship reports, websites, BRGs, etc.
Engage on special projects as needed
Data, Metrics & Benchmarking:
Assist with research, analysis, interpretation, and preparation of internal and external diversity related data and presentations for key stakeholders such as Board of Directors, Operating Committee and other Senior Management
Partner with HRMIS to provide oversight and execution and delivery of standard reports with defined frequencies to help drive management accountability and rigorous governance of key data. Examples include Monthly Diversity EMRs for OC, JPMC Diversity Goals Updates, etc. Serve as SME on questions relating to reports.
Surveys/Benchmarking/Marketplace intelligence – assist with management and completion of external survey and benchmarking studies to drive comparative analysis of how JPMC stands versus competitors/industry on workforce representation, diversity and inclusion policies and practices, etc.
JPMorgan Chase Lean In Circles
Manage and maintain the JPMC Lean In Circle platform including content library, periodic surveys for Circle moderators and members and Circle metrics/reporting
Co-lead the JPMC Lean In Circle working group; Coordinate the workstreams and Circle related activities like events for Circle moderators
Assist with managing the relationship with leanin.org, i.e. participate in regular calls with leanin.org staff, facilitate content and best practice sharing and integration into the JPMC platform, etc.
Business Resource Groups (BRGs):
Manage and drive certain BRG related initiatives, i.e. BRG IntraConnect Communities, NAMR BRG Leadership Summits, production of monthly BRG metrics pack, annual BRG Performance Scorecards, annual recognition letter process, BRG membership and leadership survey, etc.
Assist with developing tools, resources and training for BRG sponsors and leaders, diversity champions and managers
Actively assist with the evolution of the overall BRG framework and governance processes
3-5 years of experience in HR or a related field
Self-starter; ability to work independently as part of a small high impact team
Strong judgment and confidentiality mindset
Strong consulting and partnering skills; Excellent interpersonal/relationship management skills
Analytical and critical thinking, very comfortable navigating data and metrics domains with focus on data quality
Intermediary--Advanced technical skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint/IntraConnect; Familiarity with survey tools and general database familiarity a plus
Strong organization skills with ability to balance and prioritize competing responsibilities; Ability to identify and implement effective and efficient models of working
Strong communication and presentation skills - written and verbal; attention to details
Project/Process management skills
Change management understanding a plus
