Serves as the Traffic Management Coordinator and is responsible for administering traffic management programs (including flow control metering, severe weather advisory programs and oceanic flow control where applicable); traffic analysis and liaison with military users concerning altitude reservations, large scale military exercises and long range mission planning; providing intra/intercenter coordination on traffic movement activities. The TMC is located at a Level 12 en route traffic control center which is characterized by a traffic density measure of 275 or more instrument operations handled per hour. Incumbent projects positive, cooperative attitude toward system users and operators.
Occasional travel - The job may require travel from time- to-time, but not on a regular basis. The travel may be for training or other work-related duties.

Basic qualifications for Traffic Management Coordinator (TMC) positions in the terminal and en route options: Specialized Experience Required for TMC Positions: Must have been facility rated or area certified in an ATO terminal/en route facility. Rating and Evaluation Criteria: In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, candidates will be rated in accordance with the instructions on FAA Form 3330-43-1 (dated 10/11), Rating of Air Traffic Experience for AT Movement.
