The VP Talent and Inclusion (D&I) will serve as a strategic advisor, responsible for driving the implementation and achievement of talent and inclusion objectives across all business units and functions within Charter. The incumbent will serve as a senior-level change-agent, leading the creation of meaningful strategies and innovative programs that establish a solid link to Charter___s business and talent strategies.
With a continually evolving business platform of products, programming and services, as well as a changing client demographic, they will act as a catalyst for leveraging inclusion initiatives to drive sustainable business growth and opportunity.
Act as a thought-leader, influencer and subject-matter expert, working collaboratively across all areas of the organization to educate, engage and create momentum to deliver against company-wide objectives.
In conjunction with other members of the Diversity & Inclusion team, they will further develop/build an inclusive culture that is well-positioned to execute against business needs, and will ensure that Charter___s diversity initiatives have the greatest impact on the overall culture, leadership and talent agenda.
Align with business units to identify D&I business and talent objectives, and ensure execution of plans across the enterprise.
Foster and create an environment that supports the development of diverse teams, leveraging the contribution of individual differences.
Support the implementation of programs and practices that promote Charter___s key messages, achieve a competitive advantage, and ensure maximization of revenue generation opportunities.
Provide guidance and assistance in meeting Charter___s diversity objectives by developing a close working-relationship with all senior officers. Educate, partner, consult and collaborate with both functional and business areas to effectively build, incorporate and manage enterprise-wide inclusion initiatives.
Create an integrated talent strategy, reflective of D&I strategic talent & leadership objectives, with a clear, actionable plan to achieve objectives.
Partner with human resources organization, including talent acquisition and talent management colleagues, to design, develop and integrate key diversity & inclusion solutions into HR recruitment and development processes, in order to attract, develop and retain the best talent.
Partner with Legal and Regulatory compliance to ensure all programs and initiatives support achievement of regulatory goals and objectives.
Develop and maintain organizational metrics, provide appropriate updates on progress, recommend actions to support achievement of goals, and assess overall effectiveness of D&I initiatives.
Develop, drive and deliver the company___s integrated inclusion strategy, with demonstrable and measurable results.
Manage the corporate inclusion agenda and foster best-practice sharing through the Charter___s Diversity-Inclusion Councils and Employee Networks.
Lead and enable company-sponsored Employee Networks to ensure alignment with overall, business objectives, and diversity-inclusion and goals.
Provide expertise to help teams build inclusive and respectful cultures, leveraging the diversity in their teams to ensure creativity, innovation, productivity, excellent customer service and highly satisfactory work environments.
Work closely with senior executives, internal communications, and human resources functions to provide resources and tools in support of action plans, key initiatives, goals and objectives.
Responsible for overall corporate inclusion learning strategy to ensure that diversity & inclusion are integrated into all the company___s learning and development programs.
Support decisions through the application of appropriate market and industry benchmarks, as well as internal tracking and monitoring systems.
Assess Diversity programs; develop tracking strategies to monitor and evaluate impact and ROI of programs; develop reports on program effectiveness and make recommendations for program enhancement and improvement.
Benchmark external diversity-inclusion programs and initiatives and recommend/implement inclusion best practices, as appropriate.
Ensure that Charter continually enhances its reputation as a diversity-inclusion leader and benchmark against other best in class companies.
Develop additional corporate programs and initiatives supporting inclusion and employee engagement.
10 years of leadership experience, ideally including exposure to the entertainment/ media/programming industries.
7-10 years of progressively responsible experience in talent and/or diversity & inclusion, with demonstrated experience integrating diversity & inclusion into HR and business processes.

Strong business acumen; ability to recognize how D&I contributes to business strategy and operations.
Prior experience of transformation and change management.
Inspirational style that will challenge/inspire colleagues/partners to achieve business results; clear understanding of business operations and D&I priorities, and able to articulate them to audiences within and outside the organization.
Advanced relationship-management experience and consulting skills, with a superior ability to influence, lead, engage and build consensus across various levels of leaders in a decentralized organization through collaboration and influence.
