Diversity & Inclusion Coordinator Overview:

The coordinator role is responsible for supporting and providing assistance to the Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) team

within the HCM division at Goldman Sachs (GS). The fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment offers the

opportunity to support GS’ diversity and inclusion strategy across the firm. Responsibilities include data entry, ad hoc

reporting, point of contact for D&I events, etc. The goal of this position is to ensure that the day-to-day GS D&I

operations run smoothly and effectively.


Serve as logistics point-person for D&I events, including scheduling speakers/facilitators, preparing printed

materials (agendas/handouts), scheduling rooms

Partner with D&I leads to coordinate meetings/events for targeted programs (materials, room reservations,

attendees’ confirmation, tracking action items)

Maintain project plans and track tasks until completion

Assist in maintenance of D&I calendar to track events, initiatives and key processes

Summarize data and manage metrics reporting

Manage team program budgets and vendor contract/invoice processes

Perform tasks related to database administration

Manage staffing and attendees’ invites / updates for external partner organization events

Maintain documents for external partner organizations

Set-up and manage event details in the Learning Management System

Manage and update D&I website content

Maintain landing page for networks (contacts, toolkits, distribution lists)

Create newsletters and communications collateral

Assist team with answering calls / take messages as needed

Attend and take notes in team meetings

Ad hoc projects as requested


Ability to function well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment that demands creativity, energy, and


Detail oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills

Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast paced environment with high volume

Assertive, proactive with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with senior leadership

Strong analytical/technical skills

Demonstrated client-service focus and strong relationship management skills

Comfortable with data management/data manipulation

Interest in talent management, diversity and inclusion

Bachelor’s Degree required

0-2 years’ experience or recent graduate

Requirements (preference given to individuals with the below):

Administrative and/or Human Resources experience preferred

Ability to work in a team environment with a blend of onsite and offsite team members

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with candidates as well as individuals in varied roles

Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Must be able to work at a client site

Ability to work overtime as needed on a weekly basis
