The Supplier Diversity Senior Analyst for our Strategic Procurement Department will work the Supplier Diversity Manager to continue building the corporate program.Responsibilities include:- Analyze diverse supplier spend data and information. Communicate key trends and metrics to management; develop monthly and quarterly supplier diversity metrics, reports, and reviews for internal stakeholders- Support supplier identification for sourcing opportunities across various categories. Work with business units to understand RFP diverse supplier requirements and identify, pre-qualify, and provide a robust list of diverse business to meet and/or exceed contract inclusion commitments.- Serve as a secondary subject matter expert of the CVS Health Supplier Diversity program, providing guidance and feedback on the impacts of business decisions on diverse businesses. Grow and enhance the departments diverse supplier data base- Assist with the development and coordination of customized diverse supplier outreach and engagement events to include; Business Building Events - and Industry Trade Fairs - Ability to build and reinforce essential supplier diversity initiatives and programs through vendor management and accountability- Ensure all Supplier Diversity materials and communications meet rigorous brand standards and internal requirements- Primary contact for CVS Health’s Supplier Diversity Tier 2 reporting program and tracking- Ability to utilize system tools and reports to collect, arrange and analyze information in a useful and understandable way .For instance, CVM Solutions.- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to effectively influence and direct the achievement of supplier diversity related business objectives- Participate in the development and implementation of key operating models, processes, and methodologies- Lead, participate and present at internal/external stakeholder meetings- Provide ongoing supplier diversity training for internal teams and diverse supplier community- Attend external meetings and events on behalf of CVS Health Supplier Diversity program- Plan & coordinate all aspects of event activities, to include pre-event logistics planning, onsite execution, post event activities,- Develop and implement strategies to increase spend with diverse suppliers - Develop of strategy and assist with execution for National conferences and regional advocacy exhibits/events, including lead communications contact - Assist with handling correspondence and responsible for managing and following up on the questions from suppliers as appropriate and educating vendors on CVS Health’s Supplier Diversity program and processes- The successful candidate will consistently demonstrate a team approach, professional optimism & etiquette and will possess critical thinking skills- 20%-25% Travel requiredRequired Qualifications- 2 years of professional work experience required. Experience coming specifically from procurement, supply chain, business administration business analysis, project planning, contract experience or finance analyst industry preferred- 2 years of MS Office experiencePreferred Qualifications- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint mandatory- Analyze major and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and business unit procedures and client requirements- Ability to analyze data or situations and ascertain a plan of action based on that information- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers- Ability to utilize system tools and reports to collect, arrange and analyze information in a useful and understandable way.- Ability to manage and execute small/medium projects- Ability to communicate effectively across several cross functional teams and all levels of the organization (internally and externally)- Ability to demonstrate the ability to develop and coordinate meetings and effectively hold telephone calls for the purposes of informing and collecting information.- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices- Some knowledge of Supplier Diversity or Supply Chain Management programs- High energy and motivationEducationVerifiable Bachelor's degree required.
