Demonstrated experience with analyzing problems objectively, making effective recommendations and assisting with the implementation of solutions to these problems. 8. Demonstrated ability to plan and facilitate training and development workshops. Preferred Qualifications Master or advanced degree Minimum of five years of experience in higher education administration Experience working with historically marginalized and underrepresented groups Demonstrated success in working with a diverse student population Experience developing and facilitating learning opportunities designed to promote equity and inclusion Familiarity with trends in educational development and diverse issues in higher education Job Description The Manager, Diversity Initiatives will work closely with the Chief Diversity Officer in developing and implementing strategic diversity and inclusion initiatives for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. The incumbent will be an essential partner in engaging the campus community on matters related to inclusion; developing and implementing strategies to integrate effective, inclusive practices, and monitoring and evaluating progress in creating a more diverse and inclusive campus environment. Serving as a liaison to student organizations, staff affinity groups, and other critical campus partners, the Manager, Diversity Initiatives will provide advisement on a broad range of strategies, opportunities, and initiatives that will further equity, access, diversity and inclusion within the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. community. The bulk of this work will be completed by researching and identifying current and emerging issues, trends, and opportunities, and developing strategies and processes to implement campus wide. Job Duties Work in collaboration with the Chief Diversity Officer to develop, plan, coordinate, and implement training, programs, seminars, and other customized services that support the mission of the university. Act as a liaison in supporting the Chief Diversity Officeru2019s initiatives by planning, budgeting, and forecasting diversity related initiatives. Serves as a representative of the Chief Diversity Officer and Office of Equity and Access at various programs, meetings, and events. Develop and amplify current and future partnerships with campus partners and external organizations to promote and enhance the departmentu2019s core mission. Working with the office administrative staff, develop and maintain the Inclusion calendar for all on campus events related to diversity, equity and inclusion. Develop assessment tools to monitor the progress and impact of the departmentu2019s initiatives and report the results on an annual basis. Provide general supervision of administrative staff, and/or graduate assistants, student employees, and interns.
