About the role:

The Senior Consultant is a key role within the Global Diversity and Inclusion Center of Excellence. This is a high impact role with responsibility for executing plans that build an inclusive environment within Boston Scientific. The role requires a strategic thinker and change agent, who can build relationships across multiple leadership teams. The position is responsible for leading the business through the development of significant Diversity and Inclusion programming that creates and sustains an inclusive culture.


 Your responsibilities include: 

*In partnership with the D&I managers, acts as an advisor to management using diplomacy and tact to create and sustain programs or initiatives that drive an inclusive culture. *Lead periodic organization assessments and diversity audits across the company.  Manages risk mitigation efforts. *Support the overall execution of corporate-wide inclusion initiatives.  Uses Project Management skills to drive implementation of initiatives with business partners. *Coordinate data management and analytical work for key Diversity, Inclusion and Life/Work Integration initiatives. *Support the deployment of scorecards and reporting tools that demonstrate how Diversity, Inclusion and Life/Work initiatives contribute to the company's strategic and financial success. *Gather benchmark information on current Diversity best practice in the medical device industry. *Participate in policy review teams that reviews and recommends changes in support of an inclusive workplace. *Consult current Employee Resource Groups and groups seeking Employee Resource Group status.  Participate in activities and steering committee meetings of the company's Employee Resource Groups as needed. *Maintain the Employee Resource Group handbook, and review budgets and activity plans. *Provide support as needed at Diversity recruiting fairs and conferences.

What we're looking for:

 Basic Qualifications:

*Bachelor's degree *7+ years HR or D&I experience *Strong executor who can link D&I goals to action plans and implement the plan *Budget planning and reporting experience *Strong quantitative skills with the ability to analyze and present data *Strong written and verbal communication skills; can effectively articulate the business case for D&I *Experienced in delivering multi discipline change programs (i.e. change, organizational effectiveness) *Experience working effectively across a complex, global organization *Proven ability to build trust and gain the confidence of internal and external stakeholders *Superior project management skills *10%-20% travel required.

Preferred Qualifications:

*Knowledge of diversity and inclusion best practices *Consulting presence with senior leaders *Highest levels of personal and professional ethics and integrity *Forward thinking with the skillful ability to manage through ambiguity *Experience working with national-level professional organizations *Familiarity with and exposure to employee resource groups
