Contribute significantly to the diversification of the medical school student body, graduate medical education programs, faculty, and staff. Liaise with various medical school departments and offices, including, Admissions, Student Affairs, Financial Aid, Faculty Affairs, Human Resources, and Development. Align with the office of the Associate Provost of Diversity, Northwestern University, and Evanston Campus. Develop partnerships with external organizations and affiliated hospitals/health systems. Advise and counsel medical students and residents on personal, academic, and professional matters. Engage with talented undergraduate URMs, especially at Northwestern University and encourage matriculation at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine. Advocate for and support students, residents and fellows by discussing their academic progress and personal challenges on a regular basis and working with other staff and Deans to increase their success.
