Description The primary purpose of this position is to execute the vision of the Emerging Leaders Program and BoilerMentors Program. This will include co-designing the curriculum for high-achieving students that aims to help maintain academic excellence and either secure a job in their industry of choice or enter the graduate school of their choice. The position will not necessarily be delivering this curriculum but must be skilled in identifying opportunities and resources for speakers, programs, initiatives for these goals to be reachable for students in the program. The person in this position will work closely with students and student support staff to structure opportunities for students to reach their goals. Concurrently, the person in this position will manage the office suite. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree. Two years of experience in program management or related experience. Knowledge in practices that facilitate student success, particularly for underrepresented students in predominantly white environments. Strong verbal and written communication skills including proofreading/editing skills. Excellent student service skills and professionalism while working with students, faculty, staff and external stakeholders. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, collaborate and build work relationships among a diverse workforce and student population. Strong organizational and time management skills with accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to identify problems, analyze information, and implement solutions. Capable of taking initiative, assuming responsibility and handling confidential information with discretion. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook/Electronic Email, and PowerPoint. Preferred: Experience and interest in programs related to diversity, inclusion and student success. Database management, Website maintenance, event planning, PowerPoint, Banner and Cognos experience.
