KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: tExternal Talent Pools: Collaborates with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to build a pool of skilled and diverse people talent. Maintain a strong external presence and build community partners network to promote Bangor Savings Bank as a Best Place to Work. Uses online recruitment tools and social media to identify strong potential talent, specifically with diverse populations. Work on building internal Talent Scouts. Enhance the candidate experience for applicants to the Bank tCollege Relations/Internships: Build strong college partnerships to identify diverse talent for internship, summer employment, CCDP and other workforce development efforts. Coordinates summer interns to ensure all have meaningful projects, are effectively integrated into the Bank, coordinate education and activities within the Bank and with other Summer Interns (partnerships with Focus Maine, Project LogIn, etc) and ensures a link from intern/summer job to long term employment with BSB. tInternal Talent Pipelines: Work with managers to identify high performer/high potential employees. Work with Director of Talent, Diversity & Inclusion and Employee Development to coordinate and/or deliver Leadership training, Career development and connecting with a professional mentor. tDiversity & Inclusion: Support in the implementation of the Bank’s Diversity & Inclusion strategy. Work with frontline managers and employees on diversity, inclusion, and engagement efforts that foster best practices. Work with HR and business line managers to measure and identify trends in engagement, performance, pay and retention of diverse employees. Assists in diversity and inclusion communications and activities for Bank employees. tOrganization Development: Implement or monitor projects to improve the company’s talent management, performance development, and diversity & inclusion effectiveness. Employ change management tools to maximize employee adoption. Facilitate meaningful two-way dialogue and feedback throughout the organization. tInternal Partnerships: Partners with Learning & Development to develop and deliver cross-cultural, and diversity learning modules across the Bank. Works with Marketing to increase the Bank’s employment brand and visibility to prospective employees. tExternal Ambassador: Work with Community Relations and CRA Officer to align internal efforts with external partnerships/business strategies. Deliver talent and diversity presentations to business and community groups to advance BSB as workforce champion. Serve on community boards that promote work, education and/or diversity. tOther Duties: Supports the overall efforts of the Bank’s HR and Employee Development functions to optimize the Employee Experience. Participates in Bank-wide projects to increase employee participation and equity (ie—Green Dot Trainer, Diversity Committee) to ensure alignment, consistency and quality outcomes for talent and diversity process.
