We are seeking a Supplier Diversity Professional for our Washington DC (WDC) / Potomac Region. The selected candidate will be working in a dynamic team environment as part of the Supplier Management team.

The BDS Global Supplier Diversity organization is responsible to ensure fulfillment of all contractual obligations through an integrated strategic framework of subcontracting with small and diverse businesses. This effort includes responsibility for small business reporting and regulatory compliance to multiple federal government agencies, as well as the development of initiatives to expand innovative research partnerships in support of Boeing's business objectives.
Functions as Global Supplier Diversity Site Lead for Potomac Region and Supplier Diversity Lead for Autonomous Systems Business.
Works across all WDC activities and events with Government Agencies.
Oversees the deployment of supplier diversity subcontract plan initiatives and targets and ensures integration of sourcing strategies.
Leads multi-functional teams to develop and execute plans that meet quantitative targets and objectives to support customer specific requirements.
Works cross functionally and collaborates with Supplier Management, Program Management, Engineering and Contracts.
Oversees supplier diversity proposal efforts by providing small business contract language, developing strategies and plans to subcontract with diverse suppliers.
Analyzes supply base, assesses utilization gaps and targets outreach efforts to identify potential suppliers.
Provides guidance and direction to management regarding the development of company policies and procedures and other resources to diverse suppliers.
Provides guidance to lower level employees and acts as subject matter expert for the enterprise.
Independently reviews federal regulations and laws to assess the impact on supplier diversity program at the enterprise level. Formulates company position and responses to regulatory agencies.
Oversees assessment and insures compliance to company, state, and federal policies, rules and regulations.
Oversees internal and external Small Business reviews and audits and acts as primary interface.
Creates, prepares and submits written and verbal reports for business unit, functional, customer and supplier diversity management reviews.
Independently collects, monitors, and analyzes complex data from a variety of sources and creates various internal and external reports to track performance to supplier diversity forecast, projections to goals and plans.
Creates plans by analyzing historical trends, long range business plans, procurement projections and other related methodologies to meet contractual requirements and obligations.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
More than 3 years of experience working with Government Agencies in a compliance capacity.
Experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing Government Regulation requirements.
Experience dealing directly with government customers.
More than 3 years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).
More than 3 years of experience building supply chain proposals.
Experience utilizing the following MS Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills
/Experience): Business analysis experience in the following areas (Procurement, Finance, Contracts and/or Auditing).
Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
