This role supports WCD&I programs and initiatives, external and internal messaging, presentations, content creation and design, video and multi-media development and curation. Together with the CDO and WCD&I team the position directly contributes to the planning, communication, implementation and branding of WCD&Is strategy, supporting tactics, programs and initiatives enterprise wide.
Accountable for engaging and showcasing colleagues across the company in story-telling to move beyond awareness and understanding to engagement and commitment of workplace culture, diversity and inclusion (WCD&I) strategies and initiatives.
Highlight and promote benchmarking examples of internal and external best practices; campaign development and deployment; communications and multi-media design and management related to Employee Resource Group announcements, Symon boards, etc.; support signature events, conferences, meetings and presentations.
Integrate voice of the customer and measures of success in initiative planning
Build relationships enhancing commitment and awareness of WCD&I programs and initiatives highlighting interdependencies and connection points
Continually identify barriers to success and develop strategies and initiatives to address. Assess opportunities to link Workplace Culture, Diversity and Inclusion to on-going business processes, HR practices and related initiatives.
Develop and implement communication and messaging strategies/tactics in collaboration with Corporate Communication partners
Assist in creating, writing, and disseminating communications and multi-media assets across multiple channels and audiences. (E.g. ERG support, internal, external events)
Contribute to building WCD&I learning experiences and capability through story-telling using sizzle reels, etc. promoting transparency, and authentic conversations heightening engagement and inclusion
Film/Photograph, edit, create and post portrait/video montages from programs and events
Format and design department specific content on intranet site within a Unily platform environment
Update department specific content page on Aetna.com website with video, etc. and messages promoting and reflecting all dimensions of diversity
Partner with external vendors to support design development and content
Update department specific material to the Aetnas new brand guidelines and standards, e.g. presentation decks, templates, videos, etc.
3-5 years work experience in prior D&I, HR, business, communications and or Organizational Development roles.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
