Job Description Summary
Reporting directly to the Head of Recruiting, this role will partner with the D&I Council and the Team Resource Groups to champion the bank’s D&I strategy and educate groups and the employees about that strategy as well as be a trusted business partner to Recruiting to identify and implement solutions to strengthen our diversity pipeline.
Essential Job Functions
Lead the diversity sourcing efforts for diverse candidates.
Partner with recruiters to review diverse candidates for current job openings.
Engage in the marketplace by attending seminars, conferences, career fairs and community events.
Establish team calls with recruiters, business lines, and senior management to discuss the hiring of diverse candidates.
Lead the developing of innovative talent strategies that drive internal and external candidate generation and diversity slate.
Collaborate with the marketing and social media team to enhance the bank’s reputation for D&I on our website, intranet and marketing collateral
Provide day-to-day Recruiting operations support to Diversity & Inclusion activities to maximize recruiting and organizational effectiveness
Provide complete project management support including managing project plans, tracking deliverables, monitoring status of projects, conducting follow-ups and managing communications
Partner with project sponsors and managers to deliver projects within clearly defined cost, quality and time criteria
Accountable for influencing key Diversity & Inclusion stakeholders and partners, senior leaders, Team Resource Groups, Recruiting Managers and HR Business Partners to ensure the delivery of consistent messages across audiences and manage leadership requests for information
Identify, manage, and resolve key linkages and cross-project interdependencies
Apply project/activity prioritization methodologies to ensure appropriate use of human and financial resources
Monitor external diversity best practices and make recommendations
Build relationships with external and internal diversity leaders and leaders of diversity organizations
Escalate issues, implications, and recommendations to key stakeholders in a manner that drives informed decision making and desired results
Proactively identify changes in work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken with internal and external stakeholders to reassess/renegotiate/amend scope of work activities, proposals, contracts and budgets
Partner with Reporting and Analytics team on a regular and ad hoc basis for reporting requests and analytics
Lead and provide oversight for Dodd Frank reporting

Demonstrated sound judgment and ability to make effective, timely decisions.
Strong business acumen and understanding of business case development, project execution and managing competing priorities.
High level of professionalism and history of high integrity interactions in all business conduct.
Demonstrated ability to accept ownership of complex situations and be accountable for delivering results working with cross-functional teams and colleagues at all levels of an organization
Solution orientation that identifies and capitalizes on opportunities and focuses on issues, implications, recommendations, and results.
Minimum five years of experience in a corporate environment in Human Resources, Recruiting, Project Management and/or Talent Management with 2 years of D&I experience highly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or similar experience
