Job Details:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer and partner with DEI team in implementing the company’s strategic goals in support of diversity, equity and inclusion.
Collaborating with cross functional teams, leaders and stakeholders, this role develops and executes programs and initiatives that increase the representation of diverse talent and foster a culture of inclusion.
Leverages thought leadership and research to develop recommendations on (and plans for) current and future DEI strategy, programs, and metrics.
Provide DEI subject matter expertise, advice and counsel to support product companies and functions (e.g., Human Resources, Legal, IT, Corporate Communications, and Corporate Social Responsibility) pursue new and/or enhanced DEI programs and initiatives.
Lead and partner with Talent Management to develop and execute a DEI education strategy tailored to all levels of employees.
Provide support to DEI councils, e.g., participation in meetings, programming and event consultation, and serving as a conduit of information between the councils.
Influences the organizational objectives of DEI efforts and actively participates in their design and deployment.
Monitors internal and external workforce trends, including legal developments impacting policy and the recruitment and retention of talent.
Recommends strategies to improve our employer profile.
Requirements:
Education/Certifications: BA or MA / Certifications in DE&I preferred
Experience: Three to five years
Computer Skills: Requires excellent computer skills with ability to fully utilize MS Office products and Tyson systems (or like systems).
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Strong presentation skills required. Must have the ability to effectively communicate with all functional and management levels including senior leadership.
Special Skills: Proven, strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and get work done through others; ability to manage team project work along with team management responsibilities; contributor to strategic planning for team; strong aptitude to work cross‐functionally and manage a large number of projects simultaneously in a matrix organization; strong personal drive, proven analytical skills, problem solving, project management, priority setting, and teamwork skills.

Travel: no more than 25%
